The Boat

The boat's name, "Kittiwake", refers to a beautiful small white gull with jet black wingtips found on Cape waters in winter. She is a 32 foot Luhrs solid fiberglass hull propelled by a 320 HP Caterpillar diesel engine. She is clean, quiet and very roomy. She passes the USCG safety exam every spring before taking any passengers. There is ample room to get out of the sun or rain without feeling crowded. I like to point out that most charter boats’ exhaust exits the boat at the waterline, close to where you fish. Ours is ten feet in the air, over the roof, so the only smell you will experience is clean ocean air and , of course, fish.
